Dear friends of the Gothic language,
Four years after my first Gothic reading I’ve now finally finished my second (and probably last) one. Its content fits the season and ought to be familiar to most of the audience!

Dear visitors,
A small update of this page brings minor corrections; for example, I had to revise the ring at Midjungards because I realised that “huzd”, unlike German “Hort”, is not masculine but neuter.

Dear visitors,
Eventually now I’ve had time again to make a new video, albeit not a Gothic one, but a short trip into Old High German and into Langobardic. Nevertheless I queue it into my ‘Gothic readings’, as I haven’t got any other appropriate place for it at present.

Dear visitors,
After I’ve now finished my second Goths-related watercolour painting, it seems to be fairly worth opening the “artwork” branch.

Dear friends of Germanic antiquity studies,
This page has now been expanded by the category “Maps” containing a collection of old maps being in public domain by now, displaying the political situation of ancient Europe. I’ve found them on the internet, and my thanks insofar go to Nick Wedd who has made the effort of scanning them.

Dear visitors,
Finally, my first Gothic reading is now ready! It’ll possibly stay the only one for quite a while, though. The category artwork is to be filled not until I’ve got a few pictures available. Until then, I remain
Yours,
